The Creative Pattern Cutting classes will cover techniques used in design studios that work with volume.  

Using the appropriate approach when draping a garment has big impact on the overall appearance of the design. Flat pattern cutting can underestimate the volume needed. This is why creative pattern cutting is part of the foundation in creating atelier made pieces. 

On the class we will practise this on a mannequin, using techniques and case studies. And then working more on draping that can be then translated into a working pattern. 

Classes will take place at our studio in St Breward, and will either be one-off full days or weekly sessions of three hours.
