TEIJA home textiles have been inspired by childhood in Finnish cottages by a lake, watching grandmother lay a table outside with nettle juice and freshly caught fish from the local rivers. Imagine the writer Tove Jansson, her hand made illustrations and the touch of the Moomin story about friends getting together being the big highlight. But most importantly we believe in the simple joy of textured washed linens and cotton napkins and tablecloths laid on the table, making every gathering feel special and an event. 

Decorations used for styling are from Teija's kitchen, Iittala plates and cutlery and hand made stoneware pieces she has thrown at Rebecca Proctor's pottery.
